About Us

Mike and Sam's combined experience totals over 30 years of metal fabrication, general construction, product research and development, and design/AutoCAD work.

Mike worked in the production welding field for 10+ years prior to starting ACMW in 2002. His main focus during those years included Heliarc welding stainless steel for high efficiency nuclear and biological grade filtration units. Mike is an AWS/ASME certified welder.

Sam is a graduate of NC State University with a BA in Human Factors of Industrial Design. He had 10 years of sales and design experience prior to starting with ACMW. Sam is an avid sailor, and the proud owner of multiple vessels.

Both Mike and Sam also have extensive construction experience (from working contruction jobs in younger years to many personal building and remodel projects over the years). They are avid boaters and understand the needs of boat builders and owners. Their combined knowledge and experience makes them the perfect team to create exactly what you desire for your home, business, sailboat, or motor yacht.
